Table Styling Workshop (Age 6-12)

Hosting is a life skill, and it’s never too early to learn it.

In this hands-on workshop, children will discover the art of setting a beautiful table, understanding where everything belongs, and learning how thoughtful details make guests feel welcome. From styling the dining table to knowing what should be prepared in the kitchen, placed at the entrance, arranged in the guest bathroom, or displayed on a supplementary serving table, they’ll gain practical skills that build confidence and independence.

Beyond table styling, children will learn the etiquette of being a gracious host: welcoming guests, serving with confidence, communicating politely, and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

By starting young, children become active participants in family gatherings rather than simply attending them. They’ll develop creativity, responsibility, organisation, and social confidence while discovering that hosting can be enjoyable, meaningful, and stress-free.

Suitable for children aged 6–12 years.

Children will learn:

• What belongs in the dining area, what stays in the kitchen, what should be placed at the entrance, in the guest bathroom, and serving station
• The foundations of beautiful table styling and how to correctly set a table
• Hosting etiquette and guest manners
• Floral and centrepiece styling basics
• Napkin folding and finishing touches
• Food presentation and serving etiquette
• How to confidently, calmly & elegantly host, without any stress and last minute preparations
